Branding: Aftermarket Automotive Suspension

The product and brand name were already on the market. The product line also had character driven print ads; a body building duo: an over-stoked gym rat and a no-nonsense vanity chick both pitched control freak suspensions.
Long story short now, I floated a trademark design becasue this one was a good fit. Inspired by the “over-stoked gym” apparel and merchandise design trends I created the logo type above. I extended the existing “over-stoked gym rat” characters and their gym environment into Control Freak graphic branding. Can you hear the radio ad? [“Control Freak Suspensions, handsome, thick, and hard!”]
